Cannon Beach, Oregon or Bust Day 16

On Day 16 of our RV trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon, Tom and I drove from the Yaak River Campground, near Troy, Montana, to Moses Lake, Washington.

Sights along the way

We crossed the Yaak River immediately after leaving the Yaak River Campground. A few minutes later we passed the state line as we entered Idaho. We crossed over the Moyle River then angled southwest to Post Falls, Idaho to run a few errands before crossing into the state of Washington. Our most urgent errand was washing the stink off Aly from something she rolled in at our previous campsite along the Kootenai River. We found a wonderful self-serve dog wash at a local car wash. Aly didn't think it was nearly as much fun as we did but she looked and smelled fabulous after her shampoo, conditioner and blow-dry!

Unfortunately the carwash wasn't big enough for our rig so we found a truck wash just down the street. I was thrilled to see they cleaned off all the bug splatter. And, while I was in the office paying for the truck wash, Tom was thrilled to discover the Can't Resist Coffee hut. He called me over as I walked out of the office to see if I wanted any coffee. That's odd, he knows I don't drink coffee. He just wanted to see the look on my face when I saw the pretty young woman serving coffee was wearing sexy lingerie. She couldn't help but laugh at the surprise on my face and the delight on Tom's.

With a clean dog, clean truck and happy driver, we crossed the border from Idaho to Washington. We drove through Spokane and pulled into a Walmart parking lot in Moses Lake to boondock for the night. The dog wash, truck wash and coffee girl were the highlights of our day.
