After enjoying a day of kayaking at Rampart Reservoir last weekend, Tom and I declared this the Summer of Water! We’ve never seen Rampart or any other Colorado lakes or rivers so full of water. It’s AWESOME and we want to take advantage of all this beautiful Colorado water while it lasts!
So, Tom and I are off on another road-trip... staying relatively close to home. Our first stop is Frisco, Colorado where we’re camping with friends at Dillon Reservoir. We've passed Dillon Reservoir many times on our way to farther destinations. But, this is our first time to stay and stick our toes in the water.
After celebrating Independence Day at Dillon Reservoir, we’ll likely move on to Lake Granby… unless the wind blows us a different direction.
