The Places Been app, which I introduced in my previous post, allows you to eliminate ads and gain additional functionality by upgrading to the Pro or Pro+ plans. In this post I'll provide an overview of additional features available for purchase. For example you can add your own places, view your places on a 3D map, and access more detailed statistics about your places.
To view purchase options you can scroll down toward the bottom of the main page and select Upgrades and Addons.
A comparison list indicates the features included in the Pro vs Pro+ plan.
In addition to the Pro and Pro+ upgrade plans, you can purchase individual Addons for Airports, Top Sights, such as the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty, and National Parks from nine different countries.
If you purchase the Traveler's Edition, you get the Pro+ upgrade plus all the Upgrade and Addon options.
You can view and share your maps, choosing which types of places to display, including any addons you purchased. And, the Pro version even offers satellite and 3D views of your map.
Places Been is one of many apps that can help you keep track of the places you've been and will go. Its simplicity and colorful flags can even make it a fun and educational tool for kids. Right Maddox?
