Tom and I are off on another RV trip. Our primary destination for this trip is Hanging Lake in Glenwood Canyon, Colorado.
Route
Our route takes us west across the Continental Divide at Hoosier Pass then down to Dillon Reservoir. We'll camp at Dillon Reservoir then take a day-trip to Hanging Lake.
Itinerary
Our primary goal for this trip is to hike to Hanging Lake with Tom's daughter and grandson. They've never seen Hanging Lake. And, since it's one of my all-time favorite places in Colorado, I jumped at the chance to hike it with them. I also invited my son to join us, for old time's sake!
While it's possible for us to do a day-trip to Hanging Lake from home, it would be a very long and exhausting day. So we decided to turn it into a camping trip that includes kayaking and fishing on Dillon Reservoir.
