Tom and I are off on another road-trip. This one was inspired by my daughter, Sierra. After her recent travels through Asia and Australia, she returned home to Colorado… but just long enough to pack up for her next adventure as a river rafting guide in Oregon. We offered to “help” Sierra drive to Oregon, camping along the way. Since she’ll only be with us for the first half of the trip, we let Sierra choose the route to Oregon. She wants to visit Great Basin National Park, in Eastern Nevada and Crater Lake National Park in Southern Oregon. Great! We can add two more parks to our National Parks map and two new states to our RV map!
Tom and I left Colorado a day before Sierra since we drive slower with the camper. Plus, she needed more time to pack. Sierra will catch up with us in Utah after her first day of driving. Tom and I haven’t planned our return trip but it will most likely take us through Idaho, depending on weather.
